Dress Codes:

Blue Waters Resort requires Elegant Evening Attire at 2 of thier restaurants. Be sure to bring extra dress pants/slacks for the men and extra dresses for the women!

Don't forget your tennis shoes for Excursions! And a spare pair of sunglasses. I would strongly reccomend you bring a 30+ SPF Sungreen as well as some Aloe Vera Lotion. That Caribbean sun will be a lot stronger than you think!

Things to do in Antigua:

Weather:

Antigua enjoys year round warm weather with day time temperatures annually averaging between 73-87°F / 23-30°C while evenings are a comfortable 65-70F and can be cooler still during the months of December to April (a light jumper may be advisable to keep you warm in the cooler night time breezes!).

Antigua is one of the driest and sunniest islands in the Caribbean with low humidity.

Language:

One of the main reasons we decided on Antigua was because their native language is English. Had we decided on Mexico then our ceremony would have been performed in Spanish with an English translator. No Bueno! Plus, who hasn't been to Mexico?

All Inclusive Plan at Blue Waters Resort:

*Our All-inclusive includes the Bed and Breakfast rate plus Lunch, Dinner and drinks (including premium branded bar drinks).

*A free stocked mini bar is provided in all rooms when on ALL-INCLUSIVE only.

*Extensive water-sports, 3 pools and a Jacuzzi, 4 private pools for The Cove Suites, 4 bars, 3 restaurants, indoor/outdoor dining, tennis, sun loungers, umbrellas, tables at beach or pool, beach towels, live music and entertainment and fitness center!

*US$50.00 per person per night food allowance for the Cove Restaurant. Example: If you order something priced at $65 from the Cove Menu then you will be charged the difference of $15 to your room and will provide payment when you check out.

 * Beauty Salon & Spa plus our games Room available at a charge

Don't Forget!!

Don't forget your sunscreen, sunglasses (a cheap pair for excursions and water sports in case you lose them), camera, tennis shoes and MP3 players!

Also, be sure to review the dress codes for the Resort's Restaurants. Most require pants and collard shirts. Also, I read that Bartley's Restaurant and The Cove Restaurant require RESERVATIONS! Be sure to reserve your seats in advance on the day you arrive to ensure you get to try both restaurants! Bartley's is open Wed., Thurs. (Welcome Party Sunset Cruise), and Sunday ONLY. I am in the process of finding out what The Cove Restuarant's days and hours of operation are.
